History museum looking at the use of slave labor to build a bunker for Hitler during WWII.
The guide had an interesting and engaging story to tell. Plus the boat ride was a blast!
The cashier was very rude, we wanted a ticket for Wlodarz and for Molke, she sold us wrong tickets and was very rude at us. The service was really awful.
The excursion duration 1 hour and cost 35 zl. Inside the bunker 8 degrees, puddles and wet. The excursion language is Polish but anyway it was interesting. It can be fixed if read information in advance about "Riese". You can leave the car for free outside the complex or use paid parking place inside. Unfortunately there is no restaurant on the territory. Also it would be nice to have hiking trail around. The excursion duration 1 hour and cost 35 zl. Inside the bunker 8 degrees, puddles and wet. A quick tour but amazing experience with underground boating!
Absolutely amazing and must see. Not only for explorers and WWII enthusiasts but for everyone to remember the arthrocentesis and mass murderers the Germans committed. Must see.
Super.
Super
Very intersting ! A part of history to learn about. Guiding is just in Polnisch, but the guide can answer also in english. You can buy some food, or to do a walk in the forest. Inside is a little bit of watter and mud, so no sanldals. And it is recommandet with a Sweatshirt, it is cold. The history part is sad, because more than 5000 people, war prisoniers, were dead hier in circa 2 years....
Super
The museum is only nice for taking pictures. Unfriendly personel, no other languages! They want you to believe a false story. They even are building a railway inside for a stupid tourist mini train. Excuse me this is a museum and a memorial site for those who died during building this system. Read first what is written about project Riese before your visit and please, then, make up your own mind.
Tremendeus experience! Totally worth to visit. Mysterious underground complex started by Germans during WW II and never finished. Till today its not know what was the purpose of this underground facility. Good experience for less than 10$
The guide Kaszmir was very helpful and translated everything to Italian so we could understand the history of the place.
Interesting place. Suitable for few years old children.
Super
Incredible history behind these WW2 tunnels. Quite a chilling experience walking and floating through these dark corridors. A route takes approximately 2h.
WoW!
Unfortunately the waiting time was too long to wait for the next tour to spend that time in the rain.
This was totally awesome this visit round. It makes the mind boggle to what really was going on all those many years ago - respect to all those souls that perished in creating this vast complex 🇵🇱
The largest complex of Riese of all the accessible ones.. Has a boat ride.. in the flooded tunnels
huge scale and construction. Unbelievable!
Amazing experience. Was raining when we been there but we learned there a lot about prisoners and Hitler. Very nice tourist guide
A bit tricky to find but when you do, it is totally worth it. The history is interesting. Our tour guide Kuba was AMAZING! He did much of the tour in English for us. BARZO POLCAM!!!
Amazing place with lots of history. I wonder what it would have been if the Germany completed the project.
Nice and amazing place we have to wait a bit but definitely worth!
Its worth to visit and learn a little bit more about the history of the second world war
First visit since early 90s
Great place to visit, full of mistery and 2nd world war hostory. From my point of view the best part of Project Riese you can visit.
Riese is a very interesting experience - anyone who is in the region really should visit at least one of these places. I give it a 4, because it was very interesting, HOWEVER the Wlodarz admin complex looks really poor... Compared to Walim the place where the tickets are sold looks as if we were back in the 80’s. Given how awesome historically this place is, you should really make it a WOW place, from the very entrance. It looks really messy, no interesting facts & figures outside of the complex, no descriptions on the remains. We just stood there for 20 minutes with nothing to do while we waited for our tour. You should refresh this place, make it interesting for newer generations, otherwise they will lose interest in going there, whicj would be a shame...
intersting historical place! but dirty, Your shoes will get all dirty with mud
Beacuse there do not speak English
There are many theories abot this place to me it looks like it was supposed to be an atomic shelter, and a massive one. MASSIVE (Riese means gigant in german). Make sure to weare water proof boots and a jumper when visiting.
EXTRA
Interesting, but dont expect any foreign speaking guides. Polish only... Better prepare yourself and find some info on Wikipedia.
Absolutely you need to see this giantus project.
Very interesting place it had been in1945.If you burn all ducument papers you have no knowlege free fantasy
Tour is not in English. Tour Only given in Polish. Still it was a great tour to see the Reise complex. The boat ride was neat.
Nice and worth to visit, but too expensive. We had to buy a ticket for our two years old son.
Must see to every history lover.
Very nice plece to visit
English tour not available. Interesting visit though, to see what was used / built by the nazis. Unguided undocumented walk (ca 2 hourscircular trail behind the complex through the forest, clearly marked with yellow signs.
Highly interesting part of the infamous German Nazi history. Hard to believe, what man is capable to do - whether its atrocities or withstanding worst conditions.
If you are afraid to get little dirty and wet, keep away from this place. Otherwise I do recommend. Only downside, there are few english tours.
Very nice trip, fine outside area. You can buy food and some souvenirs. Inside there is 1 hour trip with some boat swimming. Not for White boots - Little MUD. Take something like jacket with you - there is around 8 Celcius degrees.
Quite expensive and guided tour only in Polish. No audio guide or book in English.
Highly recommended for those who seek for something more than just ordinary weekend. Great spot to visit.
Very knowledgeable guide and dedicated to the project of educating the visitors about the bunker catacombs. Only in polish on the day we went, had somebody that could translate to English so we managed, therefore 4 stars only
Very interesting place. A lot of unanswered questions.
We have spent nice time at Reise and it was great place and experience. Our guide was very knowledgable and professional. Unfortunately they dont accept cards...
We`ve been trying to get there last week, but road were impassable. After an half-hour of roam we decided to get back to our hotel.
Really nice presentation and good bit of history
